The Communitor's launching event will take place in parallel with the presentation of results of the Alumni Impact Barometer initiative of the Institute of Development Policy (IOB). This initiative is a VLIR-UOS funded research and capacity building project. It sets out to determine whether graduates in development studies can make a contribution to development; improve international master’s programmes and their alumni policy; and share lessons learned and best practices.
The program
The registration starts at 9 am (Dodoma time, GMT+3). After the plenary opening, two workshops are delivered in parallel, a workshop on Community Based Monitoring and Citizen Science and another one on Alumni Policy. After the network launch, at 1 pm, the Alumni Impact Barometer team presents the results of their research. At 3:30 pm, the Communitor's Launching Event follows. During this event, the objectives, governance structure and activities of Communitor will be presented. The day is ended with a network reception and dinner.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at Communitor's launching event!
