Communitor organized a workshop about Impact Evaluation focusing on the Difference in Difference techniques (DiD). Our Outreach Team members, Alder M. Contreras and Diana Tiholaz facilitated it.
Based on the pre-workshop survey responses, and we thank all respondents very much, the workshop focused on DiD basics and touched upon the linear regression model, theory of change, and validity topics. The workshop consisted of two parts. In the first part (around 45 minutes), Alder explained the linear regression model, DiD regression model, and its assumptions analyzing data in Stata to illustrate different aspects of these topics. In the second part, Diana presented a practical implementation of DiD, discussing the Community-based Monitoring project "Power to People." The ones willing to learn more about "Power to People" project could check the first six readings in our library.
We recommend to the ones who missed this workshop to follow this link to check the recording (start with minute 20) or to check the presentations' slides below.
