Dr. Sara Dewachter

Sara is an alumni and Ph.D. coordinator (part-time) and a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Development Policy and Management (IOB) of the University of Antwerp.

She holds two master's degrees in Political Science (KU Leuven) and Policy Economics (KU Leuven), and a Ph.D. in Political Science (KUL). For her doctoral thesis, she conducted research on the participation of civil society organizations in the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) process in Honduras.

Her research interests include social network analysis, development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Citizen Science, cash transfers, alumni impact.
