Diana Tiholaz
Diana is a research and teaching assistant, and Ph.D. student at the Institute of Development Policy. Her research focuses on Community Based Monitoring initiatives (CBM) in developing countries. She is particularly interested in the CBM’s enablers and bottlenecks in southeast African countries and their unintended (spill-over) effects on participants and their communities.
Besides, Diana has around five years of experience in the development cooperation field working. She worked with the Ministry of Finance of Moldova, UNDP Moldova, and different consulting companies in Moldova, Belgium, and Lithuania. Diana was involved in the preparation of proposals for donor-funded projects, project management, and coordination of large programs.
She holds a MA in European Studies, Université Catholique de Louvain and a MSc of Development Evaluation and Management, Institute of Development Policy, University of Antwerp. Her research interest includes community based monitoring, citizen science, aid effectiveness, water sector policy.
