Roxana Gómez-Valle
Roxana is currently a monitoring, evaluation and learning consultant at the evaluation office of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Her role focuses mostly on evaluation of capacity development projects and cluster evaluations, as well as promoting organizational learning derived from evaluative evidence. Before joining the UNITAR evaluation office, she worked in Nicaragua as a research assistant for socioeconomic, gender and environmental research and performing impact evaluations and diagnostic studies.
She holds a Msc in globalisation and development, Institute of Development Policy, University of Antwerp. Her areas of interest include impact and development evaluation, evaluation use, development economics, feminist economics, gender and development, and poverty reduction and livelihood strategies.
