Massiel Jiménez
Massiel is currently an evaluation analyst at the Independent Office of Evaluation of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), where she contributes to country level evaluations, sub regional evaluations, led project level evaluations and supported thematic evaluations. Before joining IFAD, Massiel worked for the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group as a Consultant for the Cities Program in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. Massiel also has professional experience supporting programme monitoring and evaluation, programme design and country-level cooperation strategies with national level institutions, the United Nations World Food Programme and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. Massiel holds a Msc in Development Evaluation and Management from the University of Antwerp in Belgium and a bachelor's degree in Applied Economics from Universidad Centroamericana in Nicaragua. In addition to evaluation and development, her areas of interest include gender and social inclusion, community driven development, livelihood strategies, behavioural economics and food security.
